Call of Duty: WWII Cheats & Hacks: 5 Things to Know

Published

on

Here’s what you need to know about Call of Duty: WWII cheats and Call of Duty: WWII hacks for PC, Xbox One and PS4. In late November Sledgehammer Games updated the enforcement policy and stated they are bringing out bans for players who map glitch and use other cheats and Call of Duty: WWII hacks. This came to a head after a very frustrating Point Du Hoc out of map glitch.

There are Call of Duty: WWII cheats that allow some players to get out of the map, which can give them an unfair advantage. Some of these are fixed, but we could see others appear.

We saw Call of Duty: WWII hacks appear during the beta on PC that included showing you where enemies are, anti aim and other measures. Many PC gamers are complaining about the state of online play still.

What you need to know about Call of Duty: WWII cheats and hacks.

What you need to know about Call of Duty: WWII cheats and hacks.

Call of Duty: WWII Cheats

So far we don’t have any specific Call of Duty: WWII cheat codes that you can enter to unlock things. There are hidden arcade games in the game that allow you to play some classics, but you have to buy them with in game currency, not with any codes.

Mini Games! to Earn Scrap! from WWII

In some games like Black Ops 3, you could enter cheat codes for the campaign, so there is a chance we will see something that gives you scrap that you can use towards items, but nothing is confirmed yet.

Call of Duty: WWII Map Glitches

One Call of Duty: WWII cheat you will see on the Xbox One and PS4 is glitching on maps. This happens when someone finds a way to get outside of the map and then spends time taking everyone out as they sit mostly covered from return fire.

The worst was on Point du Hoc, which allowed a player to get into the rocks just outside of the map and take users out without much anyone could do about it.

Call of Duty: WWII Hacks

We haven’t run into reports of Call of Duty: WWII hacks in the PS4 or Xbox One games yet, nor did we see widespread issues during the beta. However, on the PC it’s an entirely different story.

Many reports on reddit identify aimbots and wall hacks during the Call of Duty: WWII beta and the video below shows just how much a Call of Duty: WWII hack can ruin the game for everyone else in the lobby.

If these are available int eh full game, it’s not going to be fun for regular gamers.

What is Sledgehammer Doing About Cheaters

During the Call of Duty: WWII beta, hacks and cheats were abundant on PC and caused a lot of issues. In a blog post the team at Sledgehammer shared that they will be working to prevent cheating and hacking in the game. Specifically they state,

We have yet to deploy the suite of anti-cheat/hacking technology we will use when the full PC game is live. We take a level playing field extremely serious and will monitor and react to this as a top priority on an ongoing basis.

We’ll know soon enough if the actual technology can prevent cheaters and hackers from ruining the game for everyone on PC. Here’s more on what they will be doing.

What Happens If You’re Caught Using Call of Duty: WWII Hacks

If you are caught cheating or using Call of Duty: WWII hacks, you can lose access to the game. Activision outlines two types of suspensions and two types of infractions for cheating in Call of Duty Games.

  • Temporary suspensions can range from 48 hours to two weeks or longer, depending on the severity of the infraction.
  • Permanent suspensions are lasting and final.
  • minor offense is one in which no quantifiable damage has been done to another user or the game community at large.
  • An extreme offense is one in which a player has caused detriment to other users or has organized large groups of users to commit additional offenses.

This includes modding and hacking, pirated content, unsupported peripherals and apps, boosting, glitching and even account sharing. The last one is important because there are people selling XP boosting online where you share access to your account and allow them to play. If you are caught, you can both be banned.

Call of Duty: WWII Season Pass: 4 Reasons to Buy & 2 to Wait

Buy if Call of Duty: WWII is Still Your Go to Game

Is Call of Duty: WWII your game? If you are sticking with Call of Duty while half the population jumps to Fortnite Battle Royale and PUBG, this is a good investment.

This is still the go to boots on the ground version of Call of Duty, and even with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on the way it makes sense to buy the Season Pass if you will play Call of Duty: WWII for most of 2018 and into 2019.

If you think you will buy all of the maps because you loved the first 8 months of Call of Duty: WWII or because you like the direction the game is going with each update, you should buy the Season Pass.

For gamers who are planning to play Call of Duty: WWII for a year, it doesn't make sense to wait and buy the DLC separately or even to skip one or two of them since that will limit the matchmaking as you get split into a smaller and smaller pool.

You save $10 over buying the DLC individually, you get a bonus and you may still need to wait a long time for a deal.

I’m seeing an ellipsis arrow on occasion during the playback after each game . It looks like it’s showing where the enemy is coming from. Is this a hack or cheat of some sort?
