The Droid Bionic is one of the hottest Android smartphones available on the market, but the $300 price tag is a major drawback. If you are willing to wait until September 13th, you can get an amazing Droid Bionic deal at Costco.

Costco is going to include everything you need to get the most out of your Droid Bionic including an extended return policy and a number of accessories.

Check out our Droid Bionic Review to see why it took home an Editor’s Choice Award.

Droid Bionic Costco

Droid Bionic at Costco for $280 with Accessories.

On September 13th, you should be able to go to Costco and purchase the Motorola Droid Bionic for $280, plus get $160 in accessories for free. These Bionic accessories make the deal even sweeter and include the following items

  • Standard Bionic Dock
  • In Car Navigation Dock
  • Extra Battery
  • Battery Charger

If you purchase the Droid Bionic at Costco on the 13th, you’ll also get a 90 day return window, which is excellent for those of you who want the Bionic, but may be tempted to get the iPhone 5 or Droid Prime. With the Costco deal on the table, there’s one less reason to wait to buy the Bionic.

The Droid Bionic will cost you $280, which is a $20 savings off Verizon’s price. In total, the Droid Bionic is $180 cheaper at Costco. Even when you factor in the one year Costco membership ($50), you’re still saving $130 off the standard 2 year contract.

Another reason this deal is worth waiting, is that the extra battery and charger look like they will be an essential part of your Droid Bionic smartphone.

I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use https://bit.ly/grab1027

I just got a bj from your mom for only $2.50 at the same place. WOW. Seriously, you’d gotta be an idiot to fall for those scams.

Is this deal only for new verizon customers? Or does it include customers eligible for the upgrade, like myself? That extended return period is what I really want.

Yes, its for anybody. I talked to the costco verizon guy yesterday and he said that he cannot guarantee that I wouldn’t be using up my 2 yr contract price if I returned within 90. He could only guarantee verizons 14 day policy. So in fear of not being able to return it and get my 2 yr contract price back to buy another phone in a month or 2, I’ve decided to just wait. I don’t like the bionics screen, its horrible, along with a few other reasons.

You need to update your article.  Costco’s cell phone re-seller Wireless advocates, at Costco locations, is already selling the $279.99 bundle.  Unfortunately if you followed this authors advise you missed out until next week when they get more in stock.

This looks like a different package than the one in the ad above. Whence does that ad come? Was it a prototype, or is it valid? How do we know about the date?

Kevin,  The ad/bundle listed above is valid, with one exception:  the “Extra Battery” is by Rebate and there is only one allowed per household. So if you buy two phones (like I did) you find that you will only get one battery unless you file the rebate with multiple addresses.  One Note..  I am in the Washington DC area where 4G has pretty good coverage and just normally using the Bionic as a phone, leaving it in CDMA/LTE mode, and not an entertainment/video conference device, the battery is massive enough to last the entire day. when I video conference (love GTalk&Vtok beta) I need to power up after about an hour or so of chatting with video. For my wife’s and my usage we don’t need the second battery.

Will the bundle always be available? I plan on getting the phone in the next couple weeks

Just spoke to Costco rep in Phoenix Metro and they claim u got 14 days to return VZW style and up to 90Day to return if problems for an even exchange. You will not be allowed to opt out and change phones.
