Fallout 4 1.10.130 Update: What’s New

Bethesda’s pushed a new Fallout 4 update to Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC and the developer’s latest patch brings a fresh batch of Creation Club content.

It took three months but Bethesda’s back with another Fallout 4 patch. The latest patch isn’t as robust as some of the previous updates, but it brings some interesting content to those still playing Fallout 4 in 2019.

The March Fallout 4 update doesn’t come with a long list of changes but it still requires a huge download and some of you might need to make room on your internal or external hard drive.

Bethesda hasn’t released an official change log for the Fallout 4 1.10.130 patch and we don’t expect one. With that in mind, we want to run down everything we currently know about the company’s latest update.

Fallout 4 1.10.130 Update Size

The March Fallout 4 update is version 1.10.130 on the Xbox One. If you’re playing the game on a PlayStation 4, you’re going to see a different version number. The updates are the same.

The last patch required nearly 3GB of storage space but the March update requires a bit less. Xbox One users will see a 1.3GB download and the PS4 patch is around the same size.

If you’re connected to a fast Wi-Fi network it should take less than 7 minutes to download the new patch onto your console.

If you haven’t played the game in awhile, you’ll probably see a much larger download because you’ll need to download the features from the updates you skipped.

If your system is running out of space and you want to continue playing Fallout 4 online, you will need to delete files to make room for the 1.10.30 patch. It’s a mandatory patch for all players.

If you don’t want to download the patch (there’s always a chance it brings new bugs and performance issues), you can put your console into offline mode and play the game offline.

March Fallout 4 Creation Club Content

The Fallout 4 March update brings a couple of new items to the Creation Club marketplace.

Bethesda recently teased two new Creation Club creations including the Heavy Incinerator weapon and Shroud Manor which is a new customizable player home. These are included in the new patch.

The March Fallout 4 patch includes a new weapon.

• Heavy Incinerator (400 Credits)
  Developed for the Enclave’s Hellfire troopers and claimed by the Forged, the Heavy Incinerator is perfect for any pyromaniac looking for a little extra range and to inflict massive damage. This heavy duty flame launcher lobs fireballs with reckless abandon, scorching hell and earth along the way.

The Fallout 4 1.10.30 update also comes with a new player home called Shroud Manor.

• Shroud Manor (400 Credits)
  Shroud Manor was once owned by Louie Trevisani, the foremost collector of Silver Shroud memorabilia, and by some accounts, a ruthless crime boss. Yet whatever his motivations, the proof lies inside the walls of his sprawling mansion. Only there will you find the truth behind the shroud of lies and mystery. All told Shroud Manor is a fully customizable home that adds a newly textured outfit, weapon, and over a dozen workshop items.

Fallout 4 Creation Club Deals

If you’re looking to snag additional Creation Club content, there are a few deals you can take advantage of right now.

Captain Cosmos, which is normally 700 credits, has been slashed to 350 credits. The Settlement Ambush kit, which is typically 900 credits, is now 600 credits.

The Anti-Materiel Rifle, usually 400 Credits, is now down to 200 credits.

Content Updates, Bug Fixes & Problems

According to Bethesda, the Fallout 4 1.10.130 patch brings improvements to the Fallout 4 mod downloads system. Players who have had issues downloading mods should download the update immediately.

The update also brings improvements and new content to older Creation Club content. Here is a list of those changes, courtesy of Bethesda:

• Modern Furniture Workshop Pack
  This creation has been greatly expanded with new walls, ceilings, and doors to match the cleaner aesthetic of the floors and furniture. There are 6 new walls, each in three styles (solid, window, and doorway), 3 new ceilings, and 3 new doors.
• Doom Classic Marine Armor 
  New mods for the chest armor allow for varied protection and rad resistance. There are also three new skins.
• Hellfire Power Armor
  Rare chance to spawn on enemies and unoccupied power armor chassis in the world.
• Chinese Stealth Armor
  Ballistic Weave can now be added to armor at workbenches.
  Armor can also be found in the Commonwealth.
• Morgan’s Space Suit
  Ballistic Weave can now be added to armor at workbenches.
• Pint-Sized Slasher
  Ballistic Weave can now be added to armor at workbenches.
• Prototype Gauss Rifle
  Now has a “muzzle” flash along the barrel when firing.
• Slocum’s Joe Coffee and Donuts
  New ceiling piece with an embedded light.
  Known Issue: you cannot build on top of this piece. A fix is in the works, but can’t launch until the next game patch.

There’s a very good chance the new version brings some new issues with it so make sure you dig into feedback from other players before downloading the patch onto your console.

Let's start with one of our favorite PC Fallout 4 mods that quickly made it over to console. keyNuker creates a key ring in your inventory that hides keys and passwords. With it installed, your MISC tab in on your Pip-Boy is going to be a lot more manageable, particularly if you're deep into the game with tons and tons of items listed.  The screenshot here shows you what the vanilla MISC tab looks like compared to the MISC tab with keyNuker installed. It's night and day. This is one of our favorite Fallout 4 mods and one that should consider if you're tired of wasting time scrolling through hundreds (many of them worthless) of items.
