Fallout 4 DLC: 5 Reasons We’re Excited

Published

on

In February, Bethesda finally detailed some Fallout 4 DLC release details for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Today, we want to take a look at a few things that have us excited.

For months, Bethesda remained silent about its plans for Fallout 4 downloadable content. The company teased several add-ons and a release for early 2016 but it left the other details for a much bigger announcement.

The first big Fallout 4 DLC announcement finally took place last week when the developer outlined its plans for Xbox One, PS4 and PC users. The details include information about DLC features, a DLC beta, DLC release dates and some changes to the Fallout 4 Season Pass.

Over the last 24 hours we’ve seen a wide range of opinions about Bethesda’s Fallout 4 DLC and the Season Pass that nets you all of the upcoming content for $30. (For a limited time). There’s valid criticism out there but today we want to look at some of the positives that came out of yesterday’s big announcements.

These are the Fallout 4 DLC details that I’m the most excited about. Your list might be different. It’s okay if it is.

My opinion will continue to evolve as we push deeper into the year toward the additional Fallout 4 DLC content that Bethesda has planned but this is what I’m most excited about right now.

Fallout 4 DLC Beta

Yesterday, Bethesda confirmed plans to host a closed Fallout 4 DLC beta and there are a few reasons why I'm excited about these plans.

First, entry into the beta program is free and it doesn't require you to buy the add-ons. Simply make an account on Bethesda.net, sign up, and keep those fingers crossed. Bethesda will be sending out emails to lucky participants in the near future.

It's also exciting because it will help Bethesda catch major problems before its releases each DLC to the public. This benefits everyone because it will help Bethesda wipe out the most glaring issues and catch smaller issues the company's might've missed without these additional eyes and ears.

I encourage you to sign up for the Fallout 4 DLC beta today because it's not clear how long Bethesda will be accepting applicants. It's also nice to ge free paid content for your favorite game from time to time. Give it a go.
