Difficult Decisions

One of the things I love about the Fallout series and games like The Witcher 3 is that they present you with extremely difficult decisions. And it's these difficult decisions that help to fully immerse you with the game's plot. It's one of the reasons why I, like many of you, love this genre. So my hope is that Fallout 4 will come with the same kind of decison-making. On steriods.

One of the things I love about the Witcher 3 is that your choices, even the ones that you don't think will have a huge impact, ultimately have huge consequences in the world around you. And the thing is, you often don't figure that out until much later in the game.

My hope is that the choices you make, big and small, impact the plot and the towns and people. And I don't want to just hear about it, I want to see it. This adds to the plot and it also adds to the replayability of the game. The Witcher 3 has 30+ endings based on the choices you made in the game. That makes me want to play it again.

Not to put the Witcher 3 on a pedestal but one other thing I love is that it forces you to act quickly. In some instances, you only have a certain amount of time to take action in dialogue. I like that. In real life, you'd have to make split second decisions so why not in the game?

Make every action, every person matter. I'd rather the game be a deep pond, not a shallow ocean.
