Its been two weeks since the Fallout 4 release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. And in those two weeks, gamers and Bethesda have remained busy. Today, we want to take a look at the state of the game at the two week mark and tell you about some good and bad things Fallout 4 owners and buyers need to know.

The Fallout 4 release date has come and gone but that hasn’t slowed down the steady stream of Fallout 4 details for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Over the past two weeks we’ve seen tons of new information flow. Its been an interesting start to say the least.

Fallout 4 is a massive game and its own that Bethesda intends to support for the foreseeable future. The company is still hard at work behind the scenes and its work won’t be finished anytime soon. The company still owes Fallout 4 owners updates, DLC, mods, and more.

We’ve kept Fallout 4 under the microscope during the past two weeks and today we want to take a look at some of the most important details to emerge since its arrival on shelves in early November.

These details are valuable to those that are already playing the game and they’re vital for those of you that decided to wait to buy Bethesda’s new title.

Today we want to tell you about the good and bad Fallout 4 details. Keep these things in mind as we push deeper into the month towards Black Friday, the release of Bethesda’s first major Fallout 4 update and the return of Fallout 4 Nuka Cola.

Let's start with some good news. 

Last week, Bethesda confirmed plans to release the first Fallout 4 patch, in beta form, for PC. The developer said that the update would arrive this week and yesterday it delivered on that promise. 

The first major Fallout 4 update (there was a day one patch) is here in beta form and those who play the game through Steam can download it. 

The update comes with two new features and it also comes with a list of bug fixes aimed at improving the overall quality of the game. It's a solid start for Bethesda. Here's the full list of changes that come with the beta release:

  • Number pad keys can now be used for remapping
  • Remapping Activate now works on Quick Container

Fixes 

 

 


  • General memory and stability improvements
  • Fixed issue where equipped weapons become locked after completing Reunions
  • Fixed issue with When Freedom Calls where the quest would not complete
  • During Confidence Man, fixed issue where player’s health would continuously regenerate
  • Fixed crash related to jumping into water and reloading saved games
  • Fixed issue where Launcher would not save God Rays Quality setting properly
