As a reminder, the Final Fantasy 15 release is not a PS4 exclusive like Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. No, Square Enix has confirmed it for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. That said, it doesn't like owners of the PS3 or Xbox 360 will be able to get a hold of a copy.

In 2016, we've started to see publishers shift away from last-gen consoles in favor of the current-gen systems. One example if Fallout 4, one of the best games of 2015-2016 and an exclusive to the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. 

The game still isn't confirmed for PC though there are some that believe it could land for Windows down the road. We've seen some evidence emerge this year but it's not clear if it'll hold up. We'll keep an eye out for new details as we push away from the launch event.
