box1_pro-design_sh3We’re trying to close your gadget deficit while the economy is in the dumps with the Gadget Stimulus Plan. Today we’re giving away a license for Active Ink Software’s Professional Designer E-Form Builder valued at $299.

If you are looking for creative ways to implement cost savings in your business, then you need to look no further than Active Ink Software. Their e-form solutions   allows companies to easily design e-forms, deploy them, and then collect data in forms using a Tablet PC, Netbook, or notebook. It is as simple pressing the Print button within Word! The data can be saved to PDF or written to a number of databases like SQL Server or Access. For companies wanting to cut costs, implementing e-forms helps reduce paper costs, handling, rekeying labor, and time which all equates to saved money! Professional Designer supports ink, handwriting recognition, and traditional keyboard input – there is no need to go out and buy all new hardware! I would like to try this software out for collecting grades from the various TAs and instructors on a university program, some of whom use tablets. I don’t know whether it would save money directly, but I would hope it would save time and a good deal of hair-tearing trying to marshall paperwork.

Well, it’s not quite a business, but I think it would be fun to have official-looking feedback forms for when I do tech support jobs…

Working as a physical therapist I have lots of patient forms to fill in each day. Also doctors notes are needed from time to time to let them know what is going on. I have looked at this software before and think that it is quite unique and user friendly and would suit such a medical application.

I’d use it with my tablet and MS Access. I could create my database in Access and use Active Ink forms for input. Sweet

My nephew works as an appliance repairman and this software would help him print professional looking work related documents.

We have a print & embroidery business.
Lots of our customers have custom logos and
some of them submit hand drawn logos on scrap paper or
    what ever is handy.

With this software we would be able to have them draw on the
screen what they want and it would be automatically archived.

We could enter estimate/quotes and email/print them a copy on the spot in the field.

I like the looks of the product now that it can save to pdf format for emailing forms…

I would use it to design a lesson plan form that can then just be inked instead of having to type or handwrite.

I’m starting a tech support company and this software would be very useful not only as a inventory/data entry tool with the company’s M750 but also as a great way to sell this solution, along with the complex form programming, to our clients.
    Thanks for pointing this out!

I used this software several years ago when I ran an adolescent addiction treatment program, since that time, I have been without a tablet but now have one again. I would use this new version to design forms that I plan on using for a project that involves teaching a skill set called â€Ŕtechnology enhanced addiction recovery”.
