Note 4 Pre-Orders Arriving Ahead of Release Date

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date in the United States is coming early for many of those that pre-ordered the Galaxy Note 4 ahead of its October 17th release date in the U.S.

Samsung’s all new Galaxy Note 4 is an impressive smartphone and one that comes loaded with high-powered specs including a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a brand new 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, a new S Pen stylus, Android 4.4.4 KitKat software that’s backed by TouchWiz, and a brand new design that comes with both plastic and metal materials.

The Galaxy Note 4 is set to replace the Galaxy Note 3 in several places starting Friday with the United States among those regions. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular have all confirmed a Galaxy Note 4 release date for this Friday though it appears that the Galaxy Note 4 release is coming early for many of those who pre-ordered ahead of time.

Earlier this week, T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders started showing up on door steps ahead of its official October 17th street date. And while T-Mobile was first, it appears that it won’t be the only Galaxy Note 4 release date that arrives early. It appears that tomorrow will serve as an early release date for the AT&T and Sprint models as well.

Galaxy Note 4 releaseThe Galaxy note 4 release arrives as Samsung shares bad news.

Both the AT&T Galaxy Note 4 and Sprint Galaxy Note 4 are starting to ship out, two days ahead of their respective release dates. It looks like at least some of those deliveries are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Several Sprint Galaxy Note 4 pre-orderers have told Gotta Be Mobile that they are expecting their package to touch down at some point tomorrow and their information is backed up by numerous buyers on XDA-Developers and Android Central Forums.

AT&T’s Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders are also shipping out and several people claim the device will hit their doorstep tomorrow. Others are still not sure when their pre-order will arrive. What’s interesting is that several buyers claim to have waltzed into an AT&T retail store and walked out with a brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in advance of the release date. These incidents appear to be isolated but it looks like some stores might be selling stock ahead of Friday’s launch.

It’s still not clear if Verizon will join its counterparts on Friday with a Galaxy Note 4 release date of its own though from what we’ve found, it’s looking more and more like the carrier will release the device next week.

The U.S. is just one of several regions set to get the Galaxy Note 4 in the coming weeks. Samsung recently announced that it would be deploying the Galaxy Note 4 in 140 countries around the world with release scheduled to take place throughout the month of October and into the month of November. Most countries will get the Galaxy Note 4 this month while a few stragglers will start offering it in early November.

Samsung Australia, which originally was supposed to release the Galaxy Note 4 at end of the month, postponed its Galaxy Note 4 release into early November. It also pushed its Galaxy Note Edge release date back as well. This snag follows several other mishaps in the United Kingdom including Galaxy Note 4 shipping times getting pushed deeper into October.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 release will coincide with another big Galaxy Note release. The Galaxy Note Edge release date has now been confirmed for late October in Japan and will arrive on Japanese carrier KDDI on October 23rd, or, a week after the Galaxy Note 4 emerges for buyers in the U.S. and U.K. While the U.S. is set to get the Galaxy Note Edge later this year, the UK could be faced with another delay as the Galaxy Note Edge isn’t expected to hit that region at launch.

Both devices will offer powerful features though it will be the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that’s mass produced. The Galaxy Note Edge release will be far more limited.

Will I have to just import a phone from Europe to get the Note 4 version that had the octo-core Exynos processor and 64-bit capability? Why isn’t the US offered the “good” version like Europe? Why isn’t anybody bothered about that?

Octa core is only being released in parts of Asia and newzealand. Europe gets snapdragon sadly.

    For the grossly uninformed:
    1. Samsung throttles performance so that both CPU’s perform almost identically.
    2. 64bit is useful to address more memory, since both models have the same RAM the 64bit is a moot point.
