New Galaxy Note 4 Release Details Leak

Published

on

New photos suggest that Samsung is poised to release a brand new Galaxy Note 4 design that includes several Galaxy Note 4 rumors and borrows features from the Galaxy S5.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release is starting to firm up weeks ahead of the company’s Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 launch event. The event, which is slated to take place on September 3rd, is all but confirmed to be the Galaxy Note 4 launch date and perhaps, the launch date for new wearables including a new Gear Solo smartwatch and a Gear VR virtual reality headset.

In the days leading up to the Galaxy Note 4 release, we’ve seen leaks attempt to uncover specs, launch details, the Galaxy Note 4 release date itself, in addition to one of Samsung’s most guarded release secrets, the Galaxy Note 4 design.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 design rumors have been fairly scarce in the build up to the Galaxy Note 4 launch though we have seen some details trickle out. The Galaxy Note 4 design has been rumored to have an IP67 certification like the Galaxy S5, something that would make it water and dust resistant. Its also rumored to have a fingerprint sensor, a metal frame, and four colors that match the Galaxy S5’s black, white, blue, and gold variants.

The company that is notorious for clamping down on design leaks may have let one get away because it appears that the Galaxy Note 4 itself has emerged ahead of schedule.

This could be the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

GSMArena procured new photos that allegedly depict the Galaxy Note 4 in the flesh. The design in the photos matches up with Galaxy Note 4 rumors though it’s not clear if the device is a prototype or if it’s the real deal. It’s also possible that this is a well done fake.

These alleged Galaxy Note 4 photos do however present a number of interesting and possible design tidbits. First, the device matches the device on the alleged Galaxy Note 4 retail box, something that hints at a quick Galaxy Note 4 release. These Galaxy Note 4 photos also show a device that’s equipped with a metal edge (as rumors suggest), a textured leather-style back that we saw emerge in a patent (and in a Galaxy Note 4 concept), a removable back, and a large display.

The design appears to have a speaker grille at the bottom and a heart rate sensor that’s near its rear camera sensor, a feature that’s found on the Galaxy S5 and one that’s likely for the Galaxy Note 4 given Samsung’s push with its S Health app. Oddly, it doesn’t come in possession of Galaxy Note branding, a design detail that usually comes on board Samsung’s flagship smartphones.

This leak coincides with a patent filing for a device called “Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.” Samsung registered the name in the U.S. though the device in question is not pictured. Galaxy Note 4 rumors have suggested that Samsung will be debuting a Galaxy Note 4 with a three-sided display though the device is expected to come with a limited release.

The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to have a 5.7-inch display.

In addition to a brand new design, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs are said to include a massive 5.7-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 805 processor, improved camera sensor with image stabilization, 32GB of storage, and a release on all five top carriers in the United States including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon Wireless.

The Galaxy Note 4 release is expected to collide with the Apple’s iPhone 6, a device that’s rumored to have two large display sizes including a 5.5-inch model aimed at the Galaxy Note 4 in particular. The iPhone 6 launch date is rumored for September 9th, or, just six days after Samsung announces the Galaxy Note 4 at events in New York, Beijing, and Berlin.

iPhone 6 release date rumors put the device’s release on September 19th, a date that could be close to the Galaxy Note 4 release date which is expected to come earlier than last year’s Galaxy Note 3 release date. Last year’s Galaxy Note 3 was announced on September 3rd and released on September 25th.

Just what Apple is trying with no success. Apple should
Hire Samsung to build the 5.5 inch iPhone.

As long as Steve was here the iphone would not be longer than his personal tool. I am sure he is upset.
