Waterproof Galaxy S7 Edge Design

The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge have one more feature that everyone can appreciate. It is IP68 certified dust and water resistant. There are no flaps covering the ports either, it's all done on the inside.

The Galaxy S7 Edge can be submerged under nearly 5ft (or more) of water for 30 minutes with no problems. You can wash it off if it's dirty, but we wouldn't recommend testing this too often. Samsung managed to improve every aspect of this phone. From the design, internals, display, camera, battery life, add extra features and more all while making it water resistant, and barely any thicker. The curved back makes it feel thinner too, even though it isn't. The end result is a phone that's better than the Galaxy S6 Edge or Galaxy S6 Edge Plus in every way.

The Galaxy S7 Edge will be available in Black, Gold or Silver from all major carriers, retail stores and around the globe on March 11th, and is available for pre-order right now. Go get one.

“Samsung Expects Galaxy S7 to Sell Much Better than Galaxy S6” Keep dreaming. I bet most will come from those people who have an GS4 or GS5. We know Samsung can mass produce phone when it wants, but has it shown the public that it can keep up with the OS (and it’s own bloatware) running them?
