If the Galaxy S7 gets official Android Pie or a full blown Android Pie/One UI ROM down the road, you can expect a number of other changes too. 

Samsung's made a number of other tweaks to the operating system. There's a floating keyboard, improvements to Always On Display, and some smaller changes that would likely be useful to many Galaxy S7 users. 

Here are some of the smaller changes on board Samsung's version of Android Pie:

• HEIF images are now supported.
• You can now access Kids Home from the quick panel.
• A new storage analysis tool has been added to My Files to help you monitor your storage usage and save space.
• You can also show or hide items on the My Files Home screen.
• Photo Editor Pro's editing tools have been added to Gallery which means you can now make all of your edits without leaving the app.
• You can now sort your call history by incoming and outgoing calls.
• Your call history now includes up to 2000 entries, up from 500 entries.

The company's Android Pie update brought a new Lift to Wake feature to newer models and it also brings Dolby Atmos support to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8.
