Samsung will keep up the trend of durable and reliable phones like we saw from the Galaxy S7, while it is LG's first flagship to be waterproof. Well, not "proof" but water-resistant. 

For what it's worth the new sealed design of the LG G6 ensures it's water-resistant, and IP68 is typically good for 5ft of water for about 30 minutes. This is a higher water resistance rating than the iPhone 7. So well done, LG. 

In the end, don't worry about getting these phones wet. They can handle almost any situation.
