Wait If You Want Upgraded Cameras

If you want the best possible camera experience from a Samsung phone, you should think about waiting for the Galaxy S9 to arrive.

Samsung's invites to the Galaxy S9 launch this February feature the tag line: "The Camera. Reimagined."

The company hasn't confirmed what exactly is reimagined, but sources claim the Galaxy S9 will come with improved Dual Cameras from the Galaxy Note 8. Specifically, we're talking about 12 Megapixel cameras with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and 1000 FPS.

Samsung itself appears to have confirmed some of the Galaxy S9's camera details ahead of time though the company has now scrubbed them from its website.

The company recently released new information about a new ISOCELL camera sensor with faster AF (Autofocus).

The Galaxy S9 should come with a 3-stack fast-read-out sensor that should allow the Galaxy S9 to record slow-motion video at 480 FPS in Full HD 1080p.

If you aren't in love with the front-facing and rear-facing cameras on the Galaxy Note 8 or Galaxy S8, take a raincheck and wait for the Galaxy S9 to arrive. And don't take Samsung's word for it.

We recommend waiting for real-life Galaxy S9 camera samples from critics and average users to arrive before making a decision.
