The Samsung Galaxy Tab Android Pie update is getting closer and it should land for one model sometime this month.

Samsung’s Android Pie roll out started with flagship devices like the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9, but it has since moved to older phones like the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 and mid-rangers like the Galaxy A series. Soon, it will finally move onto the companies tablet line.

The Galaxy Tab Pie update is confirmed and the first update should land sometime in April. Owners of older Galaxy Tab models might have to wait a lot longer for Android Pie and Samsung’s One UI.

We don’t have the official Galaxy Tab Android Pie change log, but thanks to Samsung’s roll out we know what the update will look like and what it will likely have on board when it arrives later this year.

If you’ve been following along, you know that Samsung’s Android Pie update is pretty robust thanks to a variety of enhancements which include the new One user interface. We expect many of these features to carry over to Samsung’s Galaxy tablet line.

With just a few days to go, we want to outline some reasons why Galaxy Tab users should be feeling excited about the Android Pie release. We also want to highlight a few potential disappointments.

Rejoice, the Galaxy Tab Android Pie update is getting close.

The Android Pie roll out is currently limited to Galaxy phones, but that should change in the near future according to Samsung's roadmap.

Samsung Turkey's confirmed several upcoming Android Pie updates and the company's set an April 19th target date for the Galaxy Tab S4 Pie roll out.

This is a target date which means it could change depending on the results of testing behind the scenes. This is also the target date for Turkish users which means users in other regions could get it faster.

If you own a Galaxy Tab S4, keep an eye out for an Android Pie update in April and May. It should be here soon.
