Google Music Sale Offers Romantic Songs for Valentine’s

Published

on

Remember the days of mixed tapes and CDs? Well, Google is hoping those days are long gone and the outfit is hoping that you’ll be turning digital once February 14 rolls around as Google is now offering a sale on romantic albums just in time for Valentine’s. The sale isn’t quite as steep as Google’s holiday music promotion, but users can now grab an assortment of albums for just $6.99 through Google Music.

Dubbed For Lovers, For Less, Google is offering up 81 albums at a discount from varying artists and genres that should be sufficient for most people.

Google Music is available on Android smartphones and tablets as well as from computers and web browsers. Google Music allows users to download purchased songs as well as store them on the company’s servers in the cloud for later streaming. By streaming songs, users would be using data–be sure to be on WiFi or not burn through your data plan–but would be saving on-device storage space. Additionally, Google Music gives users access to their songs from anywhere.

In addition to Google Music, there’s also Amazon MP3, which offers a similar method for purchasing, storing, and streaming content from any Internet-connected device as well as through a native Android app, and iTunes Cloud for iOS devices.

Most recently, Google allowed users to download their entire purchased song collection in just one click from the desktop so your purchased content won’t be trapped in the cloud.

Google did not specify when the sale would end for Valentine’s Day.
