If you want one of the best Android smartphone cameras on the market, wait for the Google Pixel 2. The original had arguably one of the best cameras ever, beating out the Galaxy S7 and even the new S8 in many tests. Some believe it's better than the iPhone 7 Plus too. Judging by that, the Google Pixel 2 series should be even better. And while we're hearing Google won't offer dual cameras like the competition, the hardware is vastly improved. Additionally, software tweaks will offer portrait mode and other features seen from Samsung and Apple. The XDA leak above claims Google will stick to a single camera configuration for both phones. However, a new and improved 12.3-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization and all of Google's enhancements should still take amazing photos in any situation. Or even a 13-15MP sensor, we'll have to wait and see. | |||||||||
