HP Pavilion dv6 has a touchscreen option

Published

on

HP lifted the embargo on a ton of new notebooks today. Our sister blog Notebooks.com has the scoop on all of them, plus exclusive photos. Sadly, no tablets, netbooks or other devices that fit our particular niche to report, but there is a touchscreen option on the Pavilion dv6 with 15.6″ display.

The touchscreen option includes the HP Touchsmart software, which is standard with their various multi-touch offerings. Pricing of the option is not set, but the dv6 itself starts at $529. For full specs and details, check out the write-up at Notebooks.com.

I love touch, but I’m still not sold on touchscreens on larger notebooks. It makes them relatively thick and they bounce when you actually touch them.
