Over the past few days, HTC has been teasing its launch event which is set to take place in London and in New York City on February 19th. The company has remained mum on what it will be announcing but all signs point to the launch of the HTC M7, now thought to be called the HTC One.

HTC has teased the HTC One again and the teasers appear similar to the theme of the Droid DNA’s ad campaign.

The HTC One has been long rumored to be the replacement for HTC’s One X+ and the HTC One X. It is rumored to be coming with high-end specs ranging from a 4.7-inch display with 1080p resolution to a 4.3 Ultrapixel camera which utilizes three 4.3MP sensors to capture one crisp and clear image. Needless to say, the prospect of the device is exciting for many consumers.

We’ll likely get our first glimpse at the new smartphone once February 19th rolls around, but until then, interested parties are going to have to endure a teaser campaign courtesy of HTC.

Already, we’ve seen one strange teaser from HTC emerge in the form of a heart connected to a circuit board. Now, today, we’ve seen another teaser wherein a human eye is infused some type of technology and what appears to possibly be a headphone. Around the eye, we also see the launch date, February 19th.

Another bizarre HTC M7 teaser.

The ad seems to be based heavily off of HTC’s previous ad campaign for the Droid DNA of which the premise was the melding of smartphone technology with the human DNA so it could be that the HTC One’s advertising campaign is based along the same lines as well.

Again, HTC reveals virtually nothing in its teaser in an attempt to keep consumers imaginations churning. However, given all of the rumors, it’s safe to say that this teaser is for the HTC One and not any other device.

The HTC One is expected to arrive later this month with a release rumored for early March in Europe and later in the United States on carriers AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.

… How can HTC steal their own devices ad? Did Apple steal iPhone ads for their iPad?
