Apple
iOS 11 Beta Release & Time: 7 Things to Expect & 5 Things Not To
Expect Problems with Apps, Services & More
Before you get too excited about the prospect of an iOS 11 release in early June, remember, it will be early software. Early iOS software is always buggy and it could cause some major problems for you and your device. One of the goals of the iOS 11 beta will be to weed out major problems and bugs ahead of the update's official release. Developers and those in the Beta Software Program will be encouraged to report any and all problems to Apple and its engineers. It's difficult to predict specific iOS 11 bugs but there are some common problems that plague all of Apple's iOS beta releases. We always see complaints about battery drain, poor Wi-Fi connectivity, issues with Bluetooth, and problems with various apps and services. Apple's AirPods haven't been playing nice with various iOS 10 betas and we expect those problems to linger in the iOS 11 beta as well. Trying early iOS software like the iOS 11 beta might seem tempting but you'll want to be extremely careful if and when you decide to give it a shot on your device.
