These features aren't available in the iOS 11 beta but Apple's big updates to Apple Pay should be ready by the time the official version arrives in the fall.

iOS 11 is poised to make some huge changes to the company's popular Apple Pay solution. If you are constantly exchanging money with friends and co-workers, they could be a game-changer.

In iOS 11, you'll be able to send and receive Apple Pay payments in the Messages app. You'll also be able to use Siri to make said payments. This is done via the cards stored in your Wallet app.

The money you receive will be stored in a new Apple Pay Cash account. You can then use that cash to send to someone else, make purchases using Apple Pay in stores, make purchases in apps and on the web, or transfer the cash to a bank account.

Unfortunately, person to person payments and Apple Pay Cash will only be available in the United States on iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and later, iPad Pro, iPad 5th generation, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, and Apple Watch.
