When to Check for the iOS 12 Update

With the iOS 12 beta making progress and the release window confirmed for the fall, you might be wondering about the iOS 12 release date and time. Well, we finally have a iOS 12 release date to share with you.

Apple's confirmed an iOS 12 release date for September 17th. This is the date for all iOS 11-powered iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches. You don't need to check for iOS 12 anytime before that. There won't be a surprise release. 

iOS updates almost always arrive in and around 10AM Pacific. Same goes for iOS betas. Here's what that looks like for other time zones.

• Central – 12 PM
• Mountain – 11AM
• London – 6 PM
• Moscow – 9 PM
• New Delhi – 10:30 PM
• Shanghai – 1 AM
• Tokyo – 2 AM
• Melbourne – 3 AM
• Auckland – 5 AM
