iOS 13 Release: 6 Things to Expect & 4 Not To

Published

on

iOS 13 rumors are picking up which means it’s time to look into our crystal ball and give you a look into the future.

Apple is still focused on improving iOS 12. The company recently released iOS 12.3.1 and it’s also working on a new milestone upgrade dubbed iOS 12.4.

The iOS 12.4 update is currently in beta testing and we expect it to touch down sometime this summer alongside Apple’s new credit card.

If you own an iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch you should remain focused on iOS 12 though we won’t blame you if you start thinking about the next version of iOS, especially now that iOS 13 rumors are swirling.

iOS 13 is the next version of Apple’s mobile operating system. The company hasn’t confirmed the software, but several reports have outlined the first batch of details.

With iOS 13 rumors picking up steam, we’re getting questions about Apple’s next version of iOS. Specifically, people are interested in the iOS 13 update’s features, release date, and beta.

We don’t have all of the answers but Apple’s a fairly predictable company so we can fill in some of these blanks ahead of time.

Today we want to take you through some things to expect from the iOS 13 update. This guide takes a look at what we know about potential features, what we think we know about the release date and beta, and a few things you shouldn’t expect from Apple and iOS 13.

This walkthrough will help average users and those who maybe haven’t followed previous iOS releases get comfortable ahead of the iOS 13 roll out.

One of the first questions we always get (from readers, friends, and family) when the first batch of iOS rumors emerge is: "When will Apple announce iOS?"

Unless Apple drastically changes the way it handles iOS releases, it will announce the first official iOS 13 details this summer at its annual developer conference.

Apple's confirmed WWDC 2019 dates and the conference kicks off on June 3rd with a 10AM keynote from San Jose.

On June 3rd we expect the company to outline its plans for iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch), macOS (MacBook), watchOS (Apple Watch), and tvOS (Apple TV) in 2019.

Look for Apple to spend quite a bit of time highlighting key iOS 13 features but don't expect the company to reveal iOS 13 in full saving some announcements for the fall.
