iOS 6.1.3 Jailbreak Tools Can’t Deliver

Published

on

Users looking for an iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak or an iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak for the iPhone 5 and other devices will find plenty of tempting solutions to jailbreak a new iPhone or iPad, but watch out for a wide array of scams and fakes.

The Evad3rs delivered an iOS 6 jailbreak earlier this year and offered updates for small version of iOS, but at the moment the team Evasi0n jailbreak only supports up to iOS 6.1.2.

We hear from readers who are looking for an iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak and new iPhone 5 users who want an iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak on a regular basis, but right now there is no solution.

That hasn’t stopped a collection of companies from trying to sell and advertise an iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak on websites that promise the impossible and on setups that prompt users to share their personal information with advertisers to download a file that can’t possibly jailbreak iOS 6.1.3.

Many of these fake iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak services rely on the ability to share blog posts on a newspaper sites, which then put claims of a “fast” and “easy” iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak or iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak at the top of Google search results. Because the links are classified as news, not only are they the first links available, many users will inherently trust news results.

Don't fall for iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak offers for the iPhone 5, iPad 4 and iPad mini.

Don’t fall for iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak offers for the iPhone 5, iPad 4 and iPad mini.

Two of the first three iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak results are for sites that promise a jailbreak in exchange for money or personal information. The Suunews link is down, but it used to point to a site that promises, to jailbreak iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 on the iPhone 5, iPad 4 and iPad mini. The site is a cookie cutter deign we’ve seen on many other websites claiming to sell an iOS 6 jailbreak. This particular site goes so far as to claim it’s, “The #1 Unlock/Jailbreak iPhone Software: Used by Apple Employees!”

The real iOS 6 jailbreak is free for users to download and use, while this site charges $24.99 for a jailbreak. Despite claims of a money back guarantee, it’s best to avoid any companies that charge for an iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak.

Another website claims to offer an iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak to users in a free download. But, to get to the file, users need to sign up for an offer that shares personal information with a third-party.

Unfortunately there isn’t a legitimate iOS 6.1.3 or iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak available for the iPhone 5, iPad 4 and iPad mini. The iPhone 4 and other older devices will work with an iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak, but there is no need to pay for the software. We may not see an iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak release as we expect iOS 7 is due for an announcement in early June and a release in the fall.

It’s disgusting that such filth clogs up Google search results. Shouldn’t Penguin 2.0 have resolved that?
And what happened to MuscleNerd (is the name right?) who claimed he’d be working on an iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 JB?

Yes, I was looking for ios 6.1.3 jailbreak for my iPad 4 and sadly I have come to conclusion that there are no jailbreaks for this system right now. All the offers on the web are fake.

Everything else that claims to offer something like a PS3 emulator or in the case of iOS, jailbreaks for 6.1.3x, is, well, a survey scam. I’m no stranger to them, and in most cases the “application” that they offer is a total dud, or is laced with malware. Try decompiling an “emulator” from a supposed 3DS or Xbox 360 emu site and you’ll now for sure.

So no jailbreak for ios 6.1.3 , and waiting till ios 7 to release will take time so better to downgrade I don’t see a huge difference between ios 5.1.1 and 6.1.3 :)

To all who have done as I have, searching for the answer on how to jailbreak ios613, FACE IT, These are a waist of days with no results. And, if you were paying attention to to the words of those who created “jailbreaks” for iOS pre-6.1.3, they have stated its a waist of effort to try to create a jailbreak for the IOS that was implemented to destroy this attempt and undo previous jailbreaks in systems upgrading to iOs 613. They are waiting for iOS 7. Really??? Don’t fall for it switch to ANDROID. No Gadgets, No Gimmicks, No iPhone Prestige, Just Full ON useful.
Steve Jobs had great integrity, No Doubt. I truly admire the man. He stuck to his vision. But it was his vision and now he’s gone and it’s stuck in the mud. Sorry.;-(
I am an Android user who ended up with an iPhone 4s iOS 6.1.3 Verizon. “Sell it” has been my quest. Waist of days and weeks of Verizon lock down and an impenetrable iOS.
With loss of time and money I can’t break even on a “nice smartphone” that is most overrated. Android has proven better in so many ways.
My opinion is Jailbreaks are a thing of the past for idevices. You can still easily “root” and android, but why would you it an open OS to begin with.
