iOS 7 Jailbreak: 3 Reasons it’s Time for iOS 7 Cydia Tweaks and Themes

The iOS 7 jailbreak isn’t new, but thanks to a growing number of iOS 7 Cydia tweaks, apps and themes as well as other features now is the perfect time to use the evasi0n7 iOS 7 jailbreak tool to free your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Much to the surprise of users, the iOS 7 jailbreak arrived in December ahead of an iOS 7.1 release and well ahead of any anticipated jailbreak release, but we soon discovered the first release wasn’t all roses. The official Cydia was missing, 64-bit support for Cydia tweaks was MIA and the jailbreak itself brought controversy and other issues that prevented some iPad users from completing the iOS 7 jailbreak.

After about a month, the iOS 7 jailbreak tool and the jailbreak community are finally to the point where casual jailbreak users should consider stepping into the jailbreak community to enjoy new iOS 7 Cydia tweaks, upcoming themes and the many other benefits of a jailbreak.

It's finally time to use evasi0n7 for an iOS 7 jailbreak.

While we don’t know when the iOS 7.1 release will arrive it could remove the ability to jailbreak, even though the jailbreak currently works on the iOS 7.1 betas. If you plan to jailbreak, it’s a good idea to try it out before the iOS 7.1 release, or at the very least don’t upgrade to the official iOS 7.1 version until you are sure this tool works or that you don’t want to jailbreak.

iOS 7 Jailbreak Tool is Finally Ready

The Wvad3rs rushed the iOS 7 jailbreak tool out the door without reliable support for the iPad 2 and iPad mini Retina cellular models, as well as a host of other small bugs that we normally don’t see in a well-tested release. Depending who you believe, the team rushed the release to be the first, which may explain some of the bugs.

Over the past three weeks the Evad3rs pushed multiple evasi0n7  updates so the tool which runs on Mac and Windows now supports the iPad 2, iPad mini Retina Cellular and a variety of other fixes.

iOS 7 Cydia Tweaks and Apps are Ready

Soon after the iOS 7 jailbreak release an official version of iOS 7 Cydia arrived, but it lacked a lot of apps for iOS 7 as developers still needed time to update their iOS 7 Cydia tweaks for the new operating system.

In the last several weeks the number of iOS 7 Cydia tweaks that work exploded and tools appeared to help users find out which Cydia tweaks work with iOS 7. One list catalogs over 400 Cydia tweaks and even identifies the 64 bit IOS 7 Cydia tweaks that will work on the iPhone 5s, iPad mini Retina and iPad air.

Great article, Josh! Jailbreaking a iOS7 device may have it benefits. Jailbreaking a device gives people freedom and choice to use their hardware and software as they wish. But, the matter of security should be debated more.
The way a device is jailbroken is to find a security vulnerability, usually many security vulnerabilities strung together, in order to get an unsigned program to run on the device so we can take control of the Operating System. This is a major security issue and aren’t generally the types of issues that one would stumble across in advertently.
