And finally, you can expect the iOS 9 operating system to be replaced this year by a new, and perhaps improved, OS. That update is almost certainly going to be iOS 10.

According to 9to5Mac's Mark Gurman, Apple has already begun work on the iOS 10 update. His sources claim that development of the new operating system is "moving forward at full speed." Not surprising given that we'll probably see it debut in a few short months. 

Expect Apple to showcase the successor to iOS 9 successor at WWDC 2016 later this year, probably in June. WWDC has become Apple's go-to for major software announcements.

There, the company will likely highlight major changes and release an iOS 10 beta for developer and the public to test ahead of a public release date in the fall alongside the iPhone 7
