If you're already on iOS 8.4 and you want to try iOS 8.4.1 out, you can. 

Apple is still signing off on the iOS 8.4 update which means that the downgrade loophole is still available to iPad users. What we mean is that you can download iOS 8.4.1, try it out, and then drop back down to iOS 8.4 if you don't like its performance. You can drop back to anything older than iOS 8.4 though. 

Apple typically closes the loophole within two weeks so you'll need to dig in pretty quickly.
