Thanks to the new turn by turn directions in Apple Maps, the iPhone 5 is a great navigation partner. Yes, there are some areas where Apple Maps fail, but many users will just be happy to use voice guided turn-by-turn directions.

Mounting the iPhone 5 on the dash or windshield is a great way to use the new directions feature, and safer than fumbling with a loose iPhone 5.

ProClip US offers one of the best iPhone car mounting systems. This two-part system mounts to the car dash and offers an iPhone 5 car mount for the iPhone 5 with a case. ProClips doesn't offer an iPhone 5 mount without a case yet, or one with charging, so if that's importnat, hold off for a bit.
