Last Day to Purchase AppleCare+ on your iPhone 4S

If you have been meaning to purchase AppleCare+, the new warranty and accidental damage protection plan from Apple, for your preordered iPhone 4S, you better get to it. Today, November 14th, is the last day you can add the plan to your iPhone 4S if you didn’t purchase the warranty when you bought your iPhone 4S.

Normally, you need to buy AppleCare+ when you purchase the phone, but if you preordered the iPhone 4S early on, you were not given the option to buy the warranty from Apple.

To make sure you can take part in this plan, Apple has given until today to purchase AppleCare+ for your iPhone 4S or 8GB iPhone 4.

iPhone 4S AppleCare+AppleCare+ for the iPhone is a new service that includes coverage for accidental damages, such as broken screens and water damage. You will need to pay a $50 deductible when you make an accidental damages claim, and you are limited to two claims, but for many users this is cheap peace of mind.

You can call Apple at 1-800-275-2273 to add the AppleCare+ plan to your iPhone by the end of the day. The offer si good for any model iPhone 4S and the iPhone 4 8GB on Verizon, Sprint and AT&T. You may need to provide proof of purchase, so pull up your preorder receipt.
