Libratone Track+ Are Adaptive Noise Canceling Wireless Earbuds

When you’re looking for active noise-canceling headphones you probably think of big bulky over-the-ear headphones like the Bose QC35. However, that’s not your only option. Announced at CES 2018 is the all-new Libratone Track+. A set of small wireless in-ear earbuds with active and adaptive noise cancellation.

While the company has been around for over 10 years making Bluetooth speakers, most don’t know they make great headphones. We took a minute to check out Libratone’s latest earbuds and came away rather impressed.

These wireless in-ear headphones wrap around your neck and that’s nothing new. It’s the sweat-resistance and four levels of active (and adaptive) noise cancellation you’ll enjoy. These headphones adapt to the sound around you, tune it out, and deliver pure audio bliss.

Anything from Libratone comes with impressive noise cancellation technology. In fact, all of their headphones have four levels of active cancellation you can choose from on the fly. Not just one mode that never gets the sound profile right. Having four modes gives you complete control and customization.

Additionally, there’s an adaptive mode where the headphones will listen to the sounds around you, adjust accordingly, then deliver music right to your ears. Beats’ new Studio 3 offer something similar, but they’re huge over-ear headphones. The point here is you get the same impressive noise cancellation as bigger headphones but in a small and portable wireless package.

As you can see from the pictures and video, these aren’t totally wireless, and that’s ok. That’s because the wire that wraps around your neck keeps them safely in place, delivers the noise-cancellation, and gives them 8-hours of battery life. There’s a small USB port on the side too, which lets you charge them fully in less than one hour.

Furthermore, there’s a “Hush” mode which is pretty neat. It uses the mic to transfer everything around you to your ears so you can hear your environment without taking them off. When you combine that with the small portability and long battery life, and you can start to see why these are perfect for traveling.

Libratone is still a relatively unknown headphone brand for a lot of buyers. However, Google added its Q-Adapt and other headphones to the Google Store with the launch of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphone. Instantly throwing Libratone headphones into the spotlight. As a result, the company is taking the moment to launch these neat new earbuds at CES.

The company tells GottaBeMobile that the Track+ will be available within the next few months for $199. You can get them in Stormy Black or Cloud White. Each Libratone Track+ is IPX4 sweat resistant and come with 4 different sets of ear tips, and a special sports tip for athletes.
