“The Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner does not work with macOS Sierra yet. The company is working on a solution, but users that rely on these popular scanners should hold off.”

It’s much worse than that. Fujitsu reports that opening PDFs generated using a ScanSnap scanner, even those generated years ago, could result in permanent data loss. Any use of these scanners–past or present–could result in data destruction after upgrading. Users should not be lulled into thinking that non-reliance on the scanner (i.e., “I can survive for a while without using my ScanSnap”) will protect them.

Siri stubbornly refuses to recognize any Apple App, doesn’t open anything, says I need to find it on the app store and frankly is about as useful as a chocolate fire guard right now. You also need to be VERY careful about updating and allowing iCloud Drive to take over your desktop. If you activate it at install, then decided having your desktop on Apples unencrypted cloud servers is not what you feel comfortable with, deactivate the iCloud drive through system preferences. It then deletes your iMac desktop completely! It ONLY keeps it in the cloud, so if you don’t have time machine activated, you have to download the desktop from iCloud then delete it off of the iCloud drive. If you do have time machine, just restore the desktop from there.
