This year Motorola really took things up a notch with the Moto G. It's better in every way, even if it looks the same, it received new features, and now it can be customized on MotoMaker.com for the same low price. Here's the full rundown.

Better camera, bigger battery, water-resistant, additional customization, 2GB of RAM for better performance, a micro-SD slot and dual speakers all for the same $179 asking price. It's hard to beat.

Motorola also allows users to go to Motorola.com and customize the phone how they'd like. Users can choose either 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM, or 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM. Then you'll be greeted with two colors for the front: Black, or White.

After that Motorola offers 10 unique colors for the back, and 10 metallic accent colors to further customize your smartphone. This changes the color of the metal strip down the back of the Moto G. Owners can also buy any of the nine remaining colors they didn't choose, as replaceable backplates for only $14.99, in order to match the phone to any occasion.
