Moto G6 vs Moto G4: Display

Moto G6 vs Moto G4: Display

For whatever reason Motorola changes the screen size every year with the Moto G series. It's pretty frustrating. The Moto G4 has a 5.5-inch 1080p display. Then, the Moto G5 is only 5.3-inches, while the new Moto G6 is the biggest yet at 5.7-inches.

So, if you have the Moto G4 and its 5.5-inch 1080p screen, you'll be right at home with the 5.7-inch Moto G6. They're both 1080p HD too, which is nice.

However, the G6 is 2160 x 1080p HD while the G4 is only 1920 x 1080p. You get more pixels because the screen is bigger. It's also taller, skinner, and has smaller bezels. Don't worry about the screen making the phone bigger either, because it doesn't.

If you enjoyed the screen and size of the G4, you'll love the G6. Keep in mind that Motorola does have a G6 Play with a 720p screen. It's not as good, but it's also even more affordable. Coming from the G4, we recommend you skip the play and get the regular Moto G6.
