So far we don't have an actual release date for Android M for any device, and that includes the Nexus 6. That being said, Google promised three developer previews, and then the official Android M (name unknown) release will roll out before the end of the 3rd quarter.

For those keeping track, the 3rd quarter is July, August, and September. This is a month or two earlier than the last two years, which is good news for Android users. This means Google will likely officially announce Android 5.2 M (we're guessing Milkshake or Marshmallow) near the end of September, along with a new Nexus smartphone, and roll it out during the first few weeks of October via the usual over the air update method.
