Two things that have always been a concern for Nexus buyers are the camera and battery life. They are a weak spot in previous launches, and something that many probably held off on before ordering, to wait for reviews, but now the phone is sold out. While we've only had it for a few days now, our initial impressions of the camera and battery life are both excellent. The Nexus 6P has a big 3,450 mAh battery as well, and goes from 0-100% in under 80 minutes, so features some of the fastest "quick charging" around thanks to the USB Type-C connector. This all means it takes great photos, should last more than an entire day even with extensive use, and recharges quicker than almost every phone on the market. If you had any doubts, this is one phone we can completely recommend, so go pre-order one now before they're all gone. Checking on the google play store today, 10/21, the Aluminium 32gb, and Frost 128gb are no longer shown as “Out of stock”.

If you go to the Play Store instead of the Google Store, click on the gear and go to My Account, you can see your actual estimated shipping date instead of a range of delivery dates. The Google Store says delivery November 5-9 for me, the Play Store says it’s leaving the warehouse by November 2. They beat their estimates in both places when they shipped my Project Fi SIM, so they should hopefully at least meet them with the phone.
