OnePlus 6T vs S9: Design

OnePlus 6T vs S9: Design

The design of these two phones is almost identical on the back, save for some big changes to the OnePlus 6T. They both have a premium metal and glass frame, cameras on the back, and look great. The Galaxy S9+ and OnePlus 6 were close, but the 6T blows it out of the park.

Aside from the small notch in the screen, the OP6T is all screen. Giving you a more futuristic-looking device than the Galaxy S9 series. Furthermore, the OnePlus 6T doesn't have a fingerprint on the back either.

Instead, the fingerprint sensor is inside the display, under the glass. Other than that, they both have a premium metal design with glass on the front and the back.

And yes, we're hearing Samsung "might" do this in 2019 with the Galaxy S10.

Unfortunately, in order to add that sensor we still won't get wireless charging, an IP water-resistant rating, or a 3.5mm headphone jack. All things the Galaxy S9 and S9+ have to offer. We really thought this year OnePlus would add wireless charging, but they claim it's a waste of money until its fast enough to be useful. We mostly agree.
