The new Apple Watch isn't cheap, and you won't find any major deals on it in September or October unless you also buy a new iPhone. Some Apple Watch 4 deals help you avoid paying sales tax up front, but we should see more deals later this month. 

If you wait until November, you can save during Black Friday where you can expect $25 to $100 off the Apple Watch 4 with GPS. 

Don't wait around for deals on the LTE models unless you are willing to wait a long time. You won't likely see deals on the Apple Watch 4 with LTE until there are refurbs or until the Apple Watch 5 is almost here. The only exception will be if you buy the Apple Watch 4 LTE at the same time as a new iPhone. You might be able to save with a combo deal.
