We're not 100% sure yet, but we believe OnePlus will shrink the notch in the screen on the OnePlus 6T. That's one of the only big changes they can make this year that will make the 6T standout, without ruining the potential of the OnePlus 7 in 2019.

Just like their sister company at Vivo or Oppo, the OnePlus 6T could come with a truly edge-to-edge bezelless display. If not, it might look similar to the recently announced Oppo R17. Countless leaks suggest exactly that. 

OnePlus will deliver a phone with an 87% screen-to-body ration. Even the iPhone Xs can't beat that, coming in at 83%. That means the front is almost ALL screen, and that tiny water-drop notch won't be in your way at all. 

Basically, if you hate the notch we'll get from the Pixel 3 XL, LG V40, LG G7, iPhone Xs Max and dozens of other phones, wait for the OnePlus 6T.
