Don't Wait For a Headphone Jack or Wireless Charging

Another thing to consider for all of you enthusiasts is the headphone jack. If you want or need a headphone jack, don't wait for the OnePlus 7.

Yeah, we know, never settle. Right? the company ditched the headphone jack on the OnePlus 6T and we're fairly confident it's not coming back.

And while these changes allow for an in-display fingerprint scanner and a bigger battery, it's something some buyers just don't like. If you need the jack, don't wait, and buy something else right now. Like the OnePlus 6 or the Galaxy S10. 

Also, don't wait if you want wireless charging. OnePlus recently told CNET they're still not sold on wireless charging. It's slow and inefficient. When a wired charger can fully recharge the OnePlus 7 in under an hour and wireless charging takes over 2-hours, that's not ideal. 

The company will add wireless charging once they've found a solution that's nearly as fast as wired charging and actually makes sense for more than just a few customers.
