Reasons to Wait for the 2020 Mac Mini & Reasons Not To

Wait at Least a Few Weeks

Can you manage to wait until the end of March before you upgrade your Mac? If so, we highly recommend waiting for the 2020 Mac Mini release date. 

Signs all point to Apple announcing new hardware this month, either at an event or by press release, and if they do make the announcement you can expect a swift release. Apple may start selling the 2020 Mac mini within 48 hours of the announcement and shipping it soon after. 

It makes no sense to buy thew 2018 Mac mini with a new model this close on the horizon. Apple's return policy is 14 days, so if you pick up the current model you may be stuck with it. 

Even as the end of the month grows closer, we don't recommend going through the hassle of buying and then returning the old Mac mini.
