Red Dead Redemption 2 Wish List: 10 Things We Want

The Red Dead Redemption 2 release is getting closer, but the game is still a pretty big mystery as we push toward its October release date. With that in mind we want to take you through a few things we want from Red Dead Redemption 2 and its release.

It’s hard to believe, but its been over seven years since Rockstar released Red Dead Redemption, the iconic open-world title that put gamers into the shoes of outlaw John Marston. In the eyes of many people, Red Dead Redemption is one of the best games of all-time and the sequel has some huge shoes to fill.

In 2016, after years of rumors and speculation, Rockstar finally confirmed a sequel. After several delays, the Red Dead Redemption 2 release is finally set for this October. The game is currently slated to arrive for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 26th.

Since the initial announcement, Rockstar’s released a teaser trailer and some screen captures to hold fans over until it’s comfortable revealing the full game.

Recent rumors have revealed a few potential features, but we still don’t know much about Red Dead Redemption 2 and its gameplay.

While we wait for Rockstar to release a fresh round of official details here’s a look at a few things we want from Red Dead Redemption 2 the game and a few things we want from the game’s release.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC

When Rockstar announced Red Dead Redemption 2 it confirmed the game for two platforms and two platforms only.  When the game is released in the fall, it'll arrive on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. We haven't heard anything about Nintendo Switch or Windows PC. Needless to say, people are frustrated. A lot of people.  There's a ton of speculation about the Red Dead Redemption 2 release. A lot of people, including analysts, believe Rockstar will release the game on PC with some predicting a release after it arrives console, similar to the GTA 5 launch. Delay or not, we're hoping Red Dead Redemption 2 does make it over to the Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch, at some point down the road.  PC gamers who have been loyal to Rockstar over the years shouldn't be alienated and forced to buy a console in order to play Red Dead Redemption 2. Not after the success of GTA 5 and GTA Online. Not after a seven year wait for Red Dead Redemption 2 and, better yet, a long wait to play the original Red Dead Redemption on PC.  Nothing is official until it's official and we hope Rockstar gets this one right.
