Rise of the Tomb Raider Release: 5 Things to Know

A Rise of the Tomb Raider release is confirmed for Xbox One and Xbox 360 and that's it. There's been a ton of speculation regarding a release for PC and PS4 and as of right now, the companies involved have provided little clarity. 

Microsoft's Xbox boss Phil Spencer has said that the game will be a timed exclusive for the Xbox. A timed exclusive means that Microsoft will offer it unopposed for a certain amount of time before the game opens up to its rivals. 

Sony has yet to confirm plans to release the game and we haven't seen any credible evidence hint at a release for PC. That doesn't mean that they won't arrive down the road it just means that a release for Xbox One and Xbox 360 will be first.
