on

Google’s confirmed Android 11 which means Samsung Galaxy users are starting to wonder about their version of the update. Samsung hasn’t confirmed its Android 11 plans and it probably won’t say anything for awhile.

Samsung’s Android 10 roll out continues as we push deeper into 2020. The company’s pushed Android 10 and One UI 2.x to an assortment of devices including the Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S9, and Galaxy Note 9.

Most Galaxy users are focused on Android 10 and for good reason. That said, the arrival of Android 11 has piqued the interest of many users.

Android 11 is official and it’s currently in beta testing. Google’s released a beta for the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 4, and Pixel 4 XL. It’s also available for select devices from Android OEMs.

The official version of Android 11 won’t hit Samsung devices for awhile. Nothing is confirmed, but it looks like Google is targeting an official release in September.

We should see an Android 11 beta hit select Galaxy devices later this year. And if we’re lucky, it’ll land a lot sooner than the Android 10 beta did.

Many Galaxy users are curious about what might happen down the road so we’ve put together an early Samsung Galaxy Android 11 roadmap.

Expect an Android 11 Beta

Expect an Android 11 Beta

The first batch of Galaxy Android 11 updates are months away. That said, some users should be able to try the update long before the official release thanks to Samsung's beta program.

We don't have any official details, but you can expect Samsung to bring an Android 11 beta to select devices ahead of the public release. .

The company released the Android 10 beta for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S9, and Galaxy Note 9. The company used to limit the beta to its flagship Galaxy S phone.

In other words, you can expect the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20/Galaxy Note 11, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy Note 10 to take part in the Android 11 beta.

At the very least.
