Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Launch Isn’t Coming Anytime Soon

Published

on

Despite rumors of an imminent Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launch next week at Samsung’s June 20th launch event, consumers shouldn’t expect a Galaxy Note 3 launch anytime soon.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to be the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and it’s thought to be coming with an assortment of upgrades that should make it an appealing one. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 3 will arrive with a 5.9-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor that is either the Exynos 5 Octa or the Snapdragon 800, a 13MP camera and a design that is said, in part, to resemble the Samsung Galaxy S4 design.

Thus far, rumors have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could launch in several different months including July, August and September. And now, it appears that there are rumors suggesting that the Galaxy Note 3 could launch as early as June 20th, the date on which Samsung has an event scheduled in the United Kingdom.

The Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S4. Rumors point to a Galaxy Note 3 with a larger display and 1080P HD resolution.

The Galaxy Note 3 launch isn’t likely to come until later this year.

Reports suggest that the Galaxy Note 3 could be announced on June 20th and go on sale in the next month with an exclusive version heading to AT&T’s 4G LTE network. Don’t bet on it.

While it’s possible that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could launch earlier than the November release it got in the United States, there are currently no credible signs suggesting that Samsung will be announcing the device next week.

First, the device hasn’t leaked out in full just yet, something that typically happens in the months ahead of its release. The Galaxy Note 3, while rumored, still has a bit of mystery to it. We don’t expect the design to leak out until just before the device arrives so given that we haven’t seen it just yet, it’s not likely to arrive next week.

There are also recent reports suggesting that the Galaxy Note 3 is coming in September, not June, or July, or August. September. September has been the front-runner all along given Samsung’s penchant for announcing the new Galaxy Note at IFA in Berlin. IFA takes place in the beginning of September this year.

Maybe the most telling reason why the Galaxy Note 3 won’t arrive next week is the fact that it hasn’t announced an Unpacked event. Remember, the Galaxy S4’s Unpacked event was billed as Episode 1 and we fully expect Episode 2 to be for the Galaxy Note 3.

The invites to the June 20th event aren’t for an Unpacked event. And while we expect to see new devices and already announced devices showcased for the first time, we don’t expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. And those interested in buying the Galaxy Note 3 should not expect one to arrive next week either.

Finally someone else has managed to separate the rumours from the “wild speculation that’s just made up”. I’m tired of reading the same recycled, unfounded, ‘news’ about this device

I do not mind waiting a little while longerfor the Note 3. Give Samsung a chance to get the stuff right…It takes approximately nine months for a baby to be born..and it will be worth the weight and WAIT.

Ive seen NOTHING in this article giving it any more credibility than another. To strongly deny requires just as much evidence and sources as to strongly confirm. Just another speculation because he has no concrete information.

I just want to note that I wish Samsung would add a detachable bluetooth ear phone on their phablets. One that is ready to use upon detachment and is placed within the contour shape on the side of the phablet body.
It will not need a lot of battery juice unlike the typical earphone because once you’re done talking with it, it will go right back to the phablet and be recharged. When a typical earphone is being recharged you are recharging its usage calling time and also its resting time (rest times tend to be longer at most times). With the detachable earphone idea you are only recharging the usage calling time which translates to less battery power and less time needed to recharge back in replacing the juice that was used up. Having said that you will not have an issue of having an uncharged earphone and don’t have to spend extra time recharging it as well and does not have to find a place to recharge it. If Samsung maintains about having a removable battery on their phablets then one can simply choose to bring an extra battery.  In the mean time the ongoing advancements is trending towards less power drain capability type of hardwares and more juiced up battery types.  Not to mention phablets can accommodate a larger piece of battery which can hold more power.  Having mention trends – there’s more texting now than phone calling. With regard to uncomfortableness on the ear usage this will get better during trial and error in the development stage – and by the way the earphone will not be on your ear at most times as it will rest back on the phablet when not in use. When competition kicks in you’ll see several awesome choices instead. There will be competition with this feature especially when it start to be applied to laptops (business laptops too) and who knows what other type of machines. You won’t look like a geek anymore.

They did that with another phone years ago. It clearly didn’t catch on or it would have been a new standard in phones lol

It was not for a size of phone like the phablet size type and it probably was not as advanced as it could be today. It would be interesting for Samsung to revive this feature just like they revived the stylus pen now dubbed as the S-Pen.

What is this about the Note 3 being an Exclusive to AT&T????? This is the first I’ve heard this, so is this just someone deliberately trying to piss off people that have other carriers? I thought it was going to be made available to ALL CARRIERS, like the S3, the Note 2, and the S4, not to just one greedy carrier!
