Earlier this month, Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 3. Shortly after that, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular Verizon all confirmed it for arrival. And while some of those carriers offered up specific a Galaxy Note 3 release date, consumers have been waiting for others and thankfully, today, another release date domino has fallen.

On September 4th, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was announced on stage in Berlin, Germany alongside the Galaxy Gear, a wearable accessory for devices like the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4 and more. The device will be coming with some significant upgrades over the Galaxy Note 2 including a larger, better display, a better processor in the Qualcomm 800, a better camera that checks in at 13MP, a faux leather design, improved S Pen apps, higher quality multitasking and Android 4.3.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will hit five U.S. carriers.

So, it should come as no surprise that the Galaxy Note 2’s carriers, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon all confirmed the device for arrival shortly after it arrived. And while AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon were quick to offer specific release dates, Sprint and U.S. Cellular decided to hold off and make buyers wait.

Fortunately, today, one of those release dates has fallen as Sprint announced that it will start carrying the Galaxy Note 3 on October 4th, just a few days after it arrives on AT&T and T-Mobile. Verizon says that it will be shipping the device out by October 10th.

Sprint though will be charging $349.99 on-contract for the device, $50 more than its competitors. The company will also be selling the Galaxy Gear for $299.99 for those that want to pair the Galaxy Note 3 with its high-powered accessory.

The carrier says that that will be the day that the device goes on sale in-stores and online, giving those who wish to go hands-on with the Galaxy Note 3 before buying, the chance the to do so.

Sprint’s Galaxy Note 3 will be just like the others as it will come in both black and white. The pink Galaxy Note 3 is still missing in the United States and it’s not clear when the color will arrive.

This announcement leaves U.S. Cellular as the only carrier without a concrete release date. The carrier told Gotta Be Mobile that it would be releasing the device in October but thus far, the carrier has remained mum about its specific release date. Now that this domino has fallen, look for U.S. Cellular to give a concrete release date out sometime in the near future.
