Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rumors: Massive 1080p Display, 13MP Camera

Published

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3, rumored to be replacing the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 sometime later this year, has emerged in rumors once again with whispers pointing to a 5.99-inch Full HD 1080p display, Exynos 5 Octa processor, 13MP camera and more.

Over the past few months, rumors have been swirling in regards to the upcoming successor to the popular Samsung Galaxy Note 2. And while rumors haven’t exactly pinpointed Samsung’s rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 3, there has been no shortage of leaks proclaiming themselves to be the real deal. And today, we have a massive leak that points to everything from its screen size, to its resolution, to its camera.

The Galaxy Note 3 will likely join the Galaxy S4 later this year.

The Galaxy Note 3 will likely join the Galaxy S4 later this year.

SamMobile, which has a good track record, claims that the Galaxy Note 3 is going to be coming with a 5.99-inch Full HD display which means that it would offer 1080p resolution just like the Samsung Galaxy S4. It also says that it will have a 13MP camera sensor like the Galaxy S4, an upgrade over the 8MP sensor that was found in both the Galaxy Note 2 and the original Galaxy Note.

There are also some other claims as well. It appears that the Galaxy Note 3 could come with 3GB of RAM to compliment the Exynos 5 Octa processor that’s inside. We’ve heard that the Exynos 5 Octa will be the processor of the Galaxy Note 3 before, so this backs up those claims.

Software on the Galaxy S4 is rumored to be Android 4.3 or Android 5.0, whatever Google announces later this year and it will apparently come with even more smart features from Samsung. One software feature we’ve heard about already is Samsung’s version of Android 4.2’s Photo Sphere called Samsung Orb.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could feature an even bigger display.

The Galaxy Note 3 will evidently be the size of the Galaxy Mega 5.8 with thinner bezels though its final design is not clear. It’s possible that Samsung could ultimately shift to one of the other prototypes we’ve heard mentioned including a design with a flexible display or one that closely resembles the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Of course, nothing it set in stone until Samsung makes it so, so we advise those excited about this device to take this with some skepticism. However, given what’s out on the market, none of this sounds too surprising.

Consumers unfortunately might have to wait until September to find out what’s real and what’s not as the company has been pegged to be announcing the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at some point in the early part of that month, possibly tied to IFA 2013.

I had the S, then S2 but skipped the Note 1 (a bit too slow), S3 and Note 2, mainly becoz the screen size is not big enough for my needs, but with the rumor flying around it’s gonna be 5.9 or 6, then I’m gonna sell my S2 and Nexus 7 for this mofo phone.

Have GS3 can’t wait to upgrade to Note 3 :-)
I also hope Samsung releases a new Galaxy Note 10.1 tab. Hopefully it will include a better display.. (the display is the only thing holding me back from buying the current one) Still, Samsung is #1
