Samsung Galaxy Note Release Date in UK Moved to November 3rd

Published

We sure wish things like this happened more often. Samsung has announced that it is bringing the launch date of its massive tabletphone hybrid, the Samsung Galaxy Note, up to November 3rd from its original launch date of November 17th.

Of course, that good news and that release date only pertains to people in the United Kingdom. Those in the U.S. hoping to get a piece of the action continue to wait for a release date. In agony.

It’s going to be available in the U.K. across major carriers and it’s going to be sold at various retailers including Carphone Warehouse.

Samsung also revealed that it will have custom “S Choice”  apps ready to go for the Note’s big launch day. What are “S Choice” apps? They are applications that work with the device’s S Pen stylus and include Soonr, OmniSketch, Zen Brush, ComicBook!, and iAnnotate PDF.

For those of you thinking about picking one up, you’ll want to check out this extensive review of the device.

Up next? A U.S. launch date.

Hopefully.

Wow, If I knew a Launch date for this on Big Red I might just hold off buying a phone.

This is the perfect device to bridge the gap between SmartPhones and Tablets.  A real Win/Win.

My Droid 1 is just killing me though.  So right now I’m leaning towards a Razr and a Weptop 100 Lapbook or whatever it’s called.

Dell Streak 5 come out with this 5 inch phone tablet and many people knocked it for its size however it seems many are now following dell streak 5. I have the streak 5 and rate it as a great phone. Looking forwards to the Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 upgrade.
