How Long Will Your Android Oreo Upgrade Take?

We don't know the exact size of the official Android Oreo update, but don't expect it to be a tiny download. 

The Galaxy S8's Oreo update is right around 530MB and we'd expect most Galaxy Tab Android Oreo updates to command at least that. 

You can expect Android 8.0 Oreo to take a couple of minutes to download over high speed Wi-Fi and 5+ minutes to install on your device.

The exact timing of the download and installation will of course vary based on your connection speed and your current version of Android. 

When you go to download Android Oreo to your tablet, make sure you've carved out some free time to monitor the download and handle problems if they popup.
