Samsung Lollipop Update Release: 5 Things to Know in May

There are still some big Samsung Galaxy Android 5.0 Lollipop update release questions swirling as we head into June. There are a bunch of unknowns (most carriers don't communicate release dates ahead of time) but two of the biggest revolve around the Galaxy S4 Lollipop update's release in the United States and a release for one of Samsung's aging former flagships. We'll start with the Galaxy S4. The Galaxy S4 Lollipop update has rolled out for several carriers including AT&T and Verizon but it's still missing for two top carriers, U.S. Cellular and T-Mobile. T-Mobile's Galaxy S4 Lollipop update still hasn't been confirmed on its Android update page, a sign that the software could still be weeks away, maybe even months. Given that we've seen the other major carriers push out updates, we doubt that these two will hold back. Stranger things have happened though. Users will want to keep an eye out in June. We've seen tons of back and forth regarding the Galaxy Note 2 Lollipop update. Some at Samsung believe that it's coming, others believe that it won't roll out. At this point, we're not entirely sure what to make of the situation and Galaxy Note 2 users should keep expectations at a reasonable level because there's a good chance that it won't roll out to everyone. | ||||||

do you know why I come to your page? I search Google for Note 3 Lollipop and voilà There goes “5 things/10 things you need to know” and I come up here to have a good laugh. Look at how you keep repeating everything and all the pictures and keep using repetitive terms like push into future push into summer push into the month flurry of new details emerge last week and this week new details have emerged and OMG Oh my god. Same thing again and again and again, 5 months ago Samsung started pushing out blah blah for blah blah device and toDay we think you should know the new details that have emerged since 5 months from before when Samsung started pushing out with! ! Seriously man stop posting the same thing over and over again. If you have 2 new carriers with new updates for devices just edit the same topic and add it! Stop making my stomach hurt!

I agree. I used to really like my phone until the update. Now my phone sucks, my son hates his and WILL go back to an iPhone. I am considering doing that too and I have always been an Android user. This whole Lollipop update is awful. My phone lags, battery usage is thru the roof….and I have put in a new battery. Hate the colors and all the white backgrounds. Sorry Goose for Ranting on your page. I just wish that they would listen to everyone complaining.
