You'll want to make sure you keep up with game and system maintenance. Here's what we mean by that. Microsoft and Sony will occasionally release system updates. Some of these updates are small, others are several GBs. Turning on Instant On mode for Xbox One is a great way to ensure that your console, and your games, are updated in the background. If you'd rather keep automatic updates off you'll want to occasionally check for system updates so you don't get stuck downloading them when you want to play Skyrim Special Edition on your platform of choice. You'll also want to check online for game updates. Bethesda will release occasional Skyrim Special Edition updates for all three platforms. These can be large and they could eat into your play time. This is why we recommend turning automatic updates on PS4, Xbox One and Steam so that everything is downloaded when you turn the game on.
